Students Reflect on Osama bin Laden’s Death

On May 1, the nation let out a sigh of relief when the press released that a special group of the Navy Seals was put on a covert mission by the C.I.A. to enter into Pakistan, find Osama bin Laden, and essentially assassinate him. When word came back to the states, people rejoiced. They accomplished their mission with no American casualties.

Following are the opinions of CHS students regarding the death:

“I don’t think they care, since he killed many of his people for no reason at all.”—Desiree Bragg, senior.

“There will still be an enemy, but it’s one less thing we have to worry about. We’re still dealing with North Korea and Gaddafi… I also feel like a lot of lives will be saved with Osama being dead, American and Muslim lives alike.” —Joshua Van Sickle, senior.
